Entrepreneurship Training Course at An-Najah University
Dr. Munqez Shtaya and Dr. Tawfiq Qubbaj from the Plant Production & Protection Department of An-Najah's Faculty of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine, recently participated in a training course on entrepreneurship, gender and governance.
The training course included participants form different Palestinian universities and was given by international trainers from the Netherlands.
The training included an overview of how to make a realistic business plan by developing one during the training program.
The training covered different gender issues besides the framework of governance. The business plans resulted from this training course created new job opportunities.
The training course was part of the Capacity Building in WASH and CSA Education and Research in Palestine Project. The project is funded by Nuffic, Orange Knowledge Program (OKP), the Netherlands. An-Najah National University is leading the project in partnership with eight Palestinian universities and five Dutch universities, IHE is the Dutch partner’s coordinator.
