Moodle Training workshop
The E-Learning Center in collaboration with the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at An-Najah National University recently held a training workshop on Moodle. Moodle is an open source learning management system and a learning platform designed to provide educators, administrators and learners with a single robust, secure and integrated system to create personalized learning environments.
The workshop was organized for the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences' faculty staff. It focused on building the staff skills and knowledge in developing courses in a digital format and building out their specific online courses' resources and activities.
It also focused on teaching participants the practical skills of using the Moodle learning management system platform. It included an overview of the use of e-Learning, its benefits, its barriers, and its application.
Furthermore, the workshop included practical application of e-Learning, including opportunities for specific input on individual course materials and activities. Moodle platform instruction is followed by practical, hands-on opportunities to explore and apply skills learned.
