APDC Workshop: Co-Teaching Across Borders: Virtual Exchange Fundamentals (2-Day Virtual Workshop)
The Academic and Professional Development Center (APDC) at An-Najah National University encourages faculty to apply for a two-day introductory workshop on Virtual Exchange and Collaborative Online International Learning (VE-COIL). VE-COIL links students and classrooms around the world through co-taught multicultural and blended online coursework, giving students opportunities to develop global competencies wherever they are.
The aim of this workshop is to equip faculty with the core concepts and practical tools to design and implement a VE-COIL component in their courses through meaningful international collaboration and introduce them to the University’s growing community of practice in the field. The workshop is scheduled for Sunday and Monday January 25th-26th, 2026
To participate, faculty should be willing to integrate a virtual exchange component into a course, which will involve additional planning meetings with international faculty partners and scheduling additional course meetings with students during the semester.
Trainers: Brianne Wolf (current SUNY COIL Fellow and Global Education Specialist ) and Alia Gilbrecht (Founder of An-Najah’s Virtual Exchange programming).
