The Youth division of the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN Youth) is offering an exclusive opportunity to students and young researchers from SDSN Member Institutions to participate in projects and campaigns around the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
SDSN Youth is looking for talented students that want more than just good grades with their university experience. They are keen to work in an environment that is GLOBAL and CHALLENGING while undertaking projects that are MEANINGFUL and have an IMPACT on the lives of people. This role is an exciting chance for students to represent their institution and actively work to integrate local youth perspectives in decision-making processes and policy directions.
Campus Coordinators shall serve as official representatives of SDSN Youth to university campuses (SDSN Member Institutions) and vice-versa. They are responsible for coordinating, overseeing and monitoring progress of initiatives and activities set out by SDSN Youth within their respective campuses. In addition, they are tasked with increasing student interest in sustainable development and provide greater opportunities for them to engage in activities related to sustainable development, including through SDSN Youth.
While we accept applications from students of any discipline (Law, Commerce, Engineering, Politics, Science etc) there are a few attributes and requirements that we seek from each applicant. Applicants MUST:
- Be intuitive, adaptable and professional.
- Be based at one of the SDSN Member Institution they are applying to represent - as a student or employee (For full list of SDSN Members Institutions, please click here).
- Demonstrate that they have excellent knowledge of the campus and university they wish to represent, including its student groups, departments and municipality.
- Demonstrate that they have the time to commit to this role (10-15 hours minimum).
- Be aged between 18-30 in order to be eligible for this role.
