An-Najah University Wins Three Awards at English Language Olympiad (ELO) with Wide Arab and International Participation
In a first-of-its-kind achievement, An-Najah National University won three awards at the English Language Olympiad (ELO), securing the prize for Best Innovative Scientific Research in English among participating Arab and international universities, first place in the English theatrical performance category, and third place in the English proficiency test.
The accomplishment was achieved under the supervision of the university’s Language Center Director Mr. Amjad El-Isa and Mr. Basel Abdel-Razeq, and in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs, which helped train the students participating in the theatrical performance.
Ten female students from various faculties of the university participated in the competition, divided into two team: Oliveletes and Rising Queens, successfully completing the different stages with competence and skill.
The English Language Olympiad (ELO), held annually in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, brings together more than 58 teams from Arab and international universities. The event aims to develop English language skills, foster creativity, and promote scientific research among students beyond the traditional classroom setting.
