An-Najah National University Ranks First in Palestine and Among Top Arab and Global Universities in the July 2025 Webometrics Ranking

In a new academic achievement that reflects its leadership and excellence, An-Najah National University has ranked first among Palestinian universities in the July 2025 edition of the Webometrics Ranking of World Universities, reaffirming its strong academic and research presence at both regional and global levels.
The Webometrics Ranking, launched in 2004 by the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC), is one of the largest and most comprehensive global rankings of higher education institutions. It is published twice a year (in January and July) and is based on three key indicators that measure an institution’s research excellence, web visibility, and academic impact through citations of its researchers.
On this occasion, Prof. Abdel Nasser Zaid, President of An-Najah National University, expressed his pride in this achievement, stating: “This progress reflects the university’s commitment to enhancing the quality of scientific research, expanding its intellectual and societal impact, and advancing digital transformation strategies that have positioned An-Najah’s online platforms as global gateways to knowledge and innovation.”
The university reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining this upward trajectory, emphasizing that excellence in global rankings is a natural result of its robust research partnerships and its vision to be a regional and international hub of scientific excellence.
