On Friday, May 20, 2015 Mr. Luay Abu Reidah, PhD Candidate from An-Najah at Minho University in Portugal was selected to participate in the 26th Annual General Assembly and Conference entitled “Philanthropy: Visions and Energy for Change”. The conference was held in Milan, Italy and was over three days from May 20-22, 2015.

The conference aimed at discussing the sustainable development of the local communities and the role of scientific research in innovation and developing the youth skills and opportunities in sustainable development. It also aimed at reinforcing cooperation between philanthropy and policy makers to create social equality.

Notes:

-          The conference was attended by researchers and heads of charitable associations from all over the world.

-          The conference was concluded by a tour of the historical sites of Milan and EXPO exhibition there.
