On Wednesday, April 27^th, An-Najah participated in the "International Conference on Advanced Materials” (ICAM 2015). The conference was held at the Jordan University of Science and Technology and was over four days from April 27-30.

The conference aimed at exchanging innovative ideas and information on all aspects of materials.

Professor Ismael Warrd and Mr. Anas Al-Ali from the Department of Chemistry at An-Najah introduced two research papers on nanotechnology. Professor Mohammed Al-Khatib, Head of the Conference commended An-Najah's prominent participation at the conference in spite of the difficult political situations Palestine suffers from.

The conference mainly focused on advanced materials, structures and processing, including smart materials, composites, non-materials, nanostructures, biomaterials, and polymeric materials as well as materials for specific applications in energy, water, environment and health.
