An-Najah launches its Second National Shopping Festival
Under the patronage of President Mahmoud Abbas, An-Najah National University along with its Student Union have launched The Second National Shopping Festival, which was on Sunday 19 April at An-Najah's New Campus. The revenues for the event will be used to support the Needy Student’s Fund.
Prof. Maher Natsheh, Acting President of An-Najah, welcomed the attendees and applauded the efforts of the festival’s organizational committee in “bringing the festival to life in such a brilliant fashion”, adding that “the University is doing its best to support the community by providing services through its different faculties and centers”.
Prof. Natsheh also stressed the importance of encouraging and supporting national industries and raising awareness amongst consumers, ensuring that An-Najah maintains communication with all the sectors to support Palestinian produce through its support of scientific research and infrastructure.
The festival consists of display booths for local companies where they can sell their products, as well as a number of activities for children. It will be open every day this week until Friday 24 April at 10 pm.

1- The opening ceremony was also attended by General Manager Akram Rajoub, Governor of Nablus, Mr. Mussa Abu Dayeh, Dean of Students Affairs, Mr. Khalid Mufleh, Acting Director of the Public Relations Department, Saad Judeh, Student Union Coordinator and Ibrahim Ata, Head of the Students ' Union at An-Najah.
