Professor Maher Natsheh, Acting President of An-Najah National University participated in the Association of the Arab Universities' conference which was held at Saint Joseph University-Beirut between the 24^th and 27^th March.

The conference aimed at strengthening the academic relations, developing higher education and supporting scientific research and cooperation among Arab universities.

Professor Natsheh expressed his pleasure for participating in the conference which touched upon several issues important to higher education.

The representatives discussed the association's events, projects and plans. It also discussed the activities of the Arab council for student training and student, and those of the Quality and Accreditation Council. The Palestinian Universities Aid Fund and was also discussed.

-The conference was attended by more than 300 university presidents and representatives and the session was entitled: The Lebanon Session

-The conference was held under the supervision of Mr. Tammam Salam, Lebanese Prime Minister.

-Professor Maher Natsheh was interviewed by Saint Joseph University's Journal where he talked about An-Najah's experience in the field of higher education.
