On Sunday, March 29, 2015, An-Najah National University received Dr. Khawla Shakhsheer, Palestinian Minister of Education, in a visit that aimed at introducing her to An-Najah’s achievements in academia, scientific research and community service. Dr. Shakhsher was hosted by Professor Maher Natsheh, Acting President of An-Najah National University.

The Minister commended An-Najah’s unique contribution to developing the Palestinian community politically, economically and socially.

In turn, Professor Natsheh commended the Ministry's role in supporting the University's educational process. He also delivered a brief speech on the university's goals, projects and Research Awards.
