On Thursday, March 12, 2015, The Public Relation’s volunteer psychologist Miss Alison Lesley, held a workshop on role of communication and counseling skills in everyday life. The workshop included a discussion on the importance of knowing and understanding one's self where Miss Lesley coupled this idea with the ancient Greek aphorism "Know thy-self". The idea emphasizes identifying the strengths and weaknesses. She also drew attention to the significance of personality difference.

Miss Alison also talked about parental influence, nature versus nurture and how this impacts on every aspect of life but particularly in personal and professional relationships. The importance of this aspect appears when working with adults, children or families with emotional and/or mental health problems.
