An-Najah participates in the SDSN Mediterranean 2 nd Conference
Prof. Marwan Haddad, Director of the Water and Environmental Studies Institute (WESI) at An-Najah National University, participated in the 2nd Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN) Mediterranean Conference which was held on the 5th and 6th of March.
The Conference’s theme was: Solutions for Agri-food Sustainability in the Mediterranean: Policies, Technologies and Business Models, and was held at the University of Siena, Siena, Italy.
In the Conference, Prof. Haddad presented a paper entitled: “Agro-Food Management and Sustainability in the Mediterranean: Bottom -Up Approach emphasizing the need for a policy change in the agro-food sector towards the inclusion of sector guardians in sector's decision making being in planning, production, and/or demand management”
