On April 13^th 2010, An-Najah University President received Dr. Peter F. Dorman, President of the American University of Beirut (AUB) and Dr. Stephen W. Jeffrey, Vice President for Development and External Relations, as well as Mr. Munib Al-Masri, a Palestinian businessman.

Prof, Maher Abu Eid, Vice President for Academic Affairs, President Assistant for International and Strategic Affairs, Prof. Anwar Dudin, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at An-Najah and Dr. Samar Musmar, Assistant Dean for Graduate Studies and Research joined the meeting.

In the meeting, Prof. Hamdallah emphasized that An-Najah is deeply concerned with maintaining and developing a network of regional and international relationships in a way that enhances research and academic exchange. He further mentioned that An-Najah has been able to establish close relationships with a number of universities around the world.

Regarding the American University of Beirut, Prof. Hamdallah said that An-Najah is concerned with developing its relationships with this university, emphasizing that cooperation between An-Najah and AUB will push the exchange of experiences forward towards the development of education quality in the region.

Dr. Dorman mentioned that this visit aims to create new cooperation prospects that will open the door for further exchange of students, instructors and scientific research events in the future.
