The Public Relations Department Inaugurates the 11th International Zajel Camp at An-Najah
On May 31st, the Public Relations Department at An-Najah University through its International Youth Exchange Program (Zajel) inaugurated the 11th International Volunteering Camp at the University’s New Campus.
A large number of international volunteers will be participating in the Camp’s activities this year from the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Scotland, Ireland, Spain, Netherlands, Norway, Greece, Australia, France, Japan and Russia.
The internationals represent several prestigious universities in Europe and the United States including Boston University, University of Greenwich, Trinity College Dublin, University of Glasgow, London South Bank University, University of Westminster, University of Nottingham, Quebec University, University of Manchester, International Juridical Institute, University of Saint Andrews and City University of New York.
As part of the camp, more than 25 classes were opened for the University students enrolled in the training workshops which are administered by international volunteers who offer training for these students on a variety of subjects and skills including English communication skills, social media, English discourse skills, competency development, as well as international law and human rights.
This activity was launched in cooperation with the Office of the University President Assistant for Graduate Affairs at An-Najah, Shabab Al-Ghad Institution and the UNESCO Chair for Human Rights and Democracy at An-Najah.
