On Thursday the 26th of February, An-Najah National University signed an MoU with the State University of New York (SUNY) Korea, South Korea.

SUNY Korea has prominent departments in computer science and technology system management. This collaboration will foster student exchanges and project collaboration in these common areas. 

Professor Maher Natsheh, Acting President of An-Najah National University, welcomed the guests from SUNY Korea and expressed his content in establishing this cooperation as it will open horizons for Palestinian students and foster mutual cooperation between Palestine and Korea in student and faculty exchanges.

Dr. Johng-Ihl Lee1, Executive Director, expressed his pleasure in signing this MoU with An-Najah. He went on to say that this cooperation between SUNY Korea and An-Najah will build bridges of mutual understanding and partnership.

-          The State University of New York (SUNY), is the largest and most comprehensive state university system in the United States. SUNY was officially established in 1948 when New York became the 48th state to create a state university system. SUNY initially represented a consolidation of 29 unaffiliated institutions, including 11 teachers colleges. Today, SUNY has grown to include 64 geographically dispersed campuses that have been established in order to provide high quality education and opportunity, including SUNY Korea.
