Embracing academic and community partnerships, An-Najah University has inked multiple collaborative agreements with Jordanian universities and convened with numerous institutions within Jordan.


In alignment with its vision to elevate higher education grounded in excellence and academic innovation, An-Najah National University, led by its President Prof. Abdel Naser Zaid, has signed a joint memorandum of understanding with Al Hussein Technical University in Jordan, represented by its President Prof. Ismael Al Hinti. The signing ceremony was attented by Dr. Mohammad Sharaf, Director of An-Najah Innovation Park, encompasses provisions focusing on entrepreneurship and innovation, with a special emphasis on the faculties of Engineering and Information Technology, and Hisham Hijjawi College of Technology.

Expanding its collaborative connections to foster academic alliances, the university has also signed a memorandum of agreement with the German Jordanian University, represented by its President, Prof. Ala’aldeen Al-Halhouli, focusing on technological domains. The agreement outlines mutual efforts in enhancing and coordinating joint activities, providing training opportunities for researchers and students, thus fostering a vibrant exchange of knowledge, cultures, and innovation among the institutions involved.

Prof. Zaid underscored the significance of these partnerships as embodiments of constructive international understandings, highlighting the university's pivotal role in advancing the knowledge society and developing an educational and research milieu conducive to creativity and innovation. In reaffirmation of this commitment, he stated, “An-Najah University has established An-Najah Innovation Park as a cornerstone initiative aimed at enhancing the quality of education, training, and entrepreneurship in Palestine, while also offering support to scientific institutions, entrepreneurial hubs, and technological communities.

Amidst his visit to Jordan, Prof. Zaid signed the agreements and held meetings with notable figures including the head of Telecommunications and Information Technology Companies Union and the president of Tafila Technical University, discussing avenues for collaborative endeavors. He also met with Mr. Taher Kanaan, alongside a cohort of intellectuals, and representatives from the Arab Orphan Committee, aiming to bolster the university's commitment in strengthening bonds with local and international entities, thus supporting students and reinforcing the educational process.
