The Department of Public Services has a series of responsibilities, which help the academic and administrative departments achieve their goals.

Employees in the department carry out these responsibilities in a variety of forms:

- Guarding the buildings and entrances to the campus.
- Cleaning and supervising the cleaning company workers.
- Inspecting the university and informing the maintenance department of any damage.
