The Purchasing and Procurement Department was established in 1989 to handle purchasing, trading, and accounting of supplies. The department is divided into two distinct sections:

• Purchasing, which handles all requests for materials from within the university offices and the inherent record keeping; and
• Main Stores, which handles the receiving of supplies from suppliers and distributes these suppies to the appropriate offices.
