Procurement Department
The Purchasing and Procurement Department was established in 1989 to handle purchasing, trading, and accounting of supplies.
The department is divided into two sections:
Purchasing Section:
- Receives requests for materials and equipment from the departments and colleges
- Classifies the requests and prepares tenders
- Receives documents from suppliers, checks them, and forwards them to the finance department
Main Stores:
- Receive materials and equipment from suppliers according to purchasing orders or letters of request
- Allocate MI numbers for all materials
- Prepare NRUS for all purchases.
