Prof. Maher Abu Eid, the Vice President for Academic Affairs, is committed to implementing the academic mission of the university through administering an exceptional array of undergraduate and graduate programs, creating high standards for student academic achievement and conduct, developing faculty and advancing technological innovation throughout the University.
Prof. Abu Eid is responsible for helping both students and faculty achieve their academic and professional goals. Along with the academic deans and department directors, Vice President for Academic Affairs administers existing programs, revises and reviews those programs, and develops new ones. He also facilitates academic policies, procedures, and standards for both students and faculty.
Vice President is dedicated to encouraging students and faculty members to engage in creative activities, applied research, and service and outreach activities, in order to provide optimum service to the University and the society.
