About An-Najah History
An-Najah National University was established as An-Najah Nabulsi School in 1918. In 1941 it became An-Najah College, and by 1963 it was functioning as a two-year community college. In 1977 it became An-Najah National University with Faculties of Arts and Science.
In 1978 An-Najah National University joined the Association of Arab Universities as a full member. Since its establishment as a full-fledged university An-Najah has been thriving in the face of adversity. The university has grown and advanced from this point forward and is now competing at the forefront of higher education not only in the Arab world, but at the international level as well.
