• This Programme was established in 1994.
• In 1996: shared in drafting the text of the UNESCO/UNITWIN Network agreement.
• In 1998: was one of the five Universities which signed the agreement with UNESCO establishing The Forced Migration UNITWIN/UNESCO Network.
• Since 1998: Member of the aforementioned Network Governing Board.
