Established in 1998, the Urban and Regional Planning Unit aims to monitor and control the increasing pace of recent development in Palestine, accomplishing the role of An-Najah National University in the building process of the Palestinian ministries and institutions.

In general, the Unit aims at analyzing, supervising, linking, controlling and dealing with all issues and problems pertinent to the present and future situation of local, regional and national planning in Palestine.
