The primary mission of the library is to support our clients (the staff, students, researchers) by providing collections, information resources, services and environments that lead to creativity thereby supporting the instructional programs and educational goals of the University.

An-Najah National University Libraries are an extension of An-Najah School and An-Najah Community College library. Until 1977, the year in which An-Najah National University was established. In 1998 the Diana Tamari Sabbagh Main Library was built in the center of the Old Campus, and the New Campus library building with a total space area of 12,000 m2, a basement, and four stories containing two halls each in the main library and six stories building in the new library. The An-Najah Libraries hold approximately 300,000 Volumes in Arabic, English and other languages. The Libraries also subscribe to 22,000 electronic and in-print periodicals and peer-reviewed journals.

The Libraries have evolved to meet the changing needs of students in the information sciences and provides electronic services and free internet access to users. An-Najah National University Libraries employ an open shelves policy and technological services that meets the international standards of the DDC and MARC21.
