A Delegation from British Consulate Visits An-Najah University
On Tuesday, October 5, 2021, Prof. Abdel Naser Zaid, University President and Dr. Kherieh Rassas, An-Najah’s Vice President for International and External Relations hosted a delegation from the British Consulate represented by H.E. Mrs. Diane Corner, Consul General of the UK, Mrs. Georgina Wood-house Hills, Political Consul, and Ms. Hanan Hamoudeh, Political Officer to discuss possible means of mutual cooperation between An-Najah and British universities.
Prof. Zaid briefed the delegation on An-Najah's history, international rankings and other academic achievements, strategic plans and programs as well as the various specializations it offers.
The visitors were quite impressed with the academic and research achievements of the University and emphasized on the importance of developing cooperation in various fields.
The delegation was also received by Dr. Abdulsalam Khayyat, Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Shaker Bitar, Vice President for Administrative Affairs, Dr. Nidal Dwaikat, Vice President for Planning, Development and Quality, Dr. Saida Affouneh, Assistant President for Digitalization and E-Learning, Mr. Raed Debie, Acting President's Assistant for Community Affairs for Community Affairs, and Dr. Maher Abu Zant, President's Assistant for Logistics and Infrastructure Affairs.
The delegation also met with a number of An-Najah's students from different specializations to discuss several issues of concern to students.
