What is Erasmus Mundus?
A global programme of the European Union that aims at promoting dialogue and understanding between peoples and cultures through academic cooperation between the EU and developing countries.
The EU gives financial support in the form of scholarships to eligible students and for faculty and researchers to pursue their studies in European universities.
The Goals of Erasmus Mundus:
Promote structured cooperation between higher education institutions through exchange programmes
Contribute to the mutual enrichment of societies by developing the qualifications of women / men so that they develop useful skills with experience at the international level
Promote mobility for talented students and academics from developing countries to the European Union and vice versa
- Contribute to the development of human resources and the international cooperation capacity of universities in the partner countries through increased exchanges between the EU and these countries
- Improve and enhance the reputation of and ease of access to European universities.
