As the President of An-Najah National University, it is my distinct honor to welcome you to our University’s website.

With every new academic year, it becomes ever more apparent that An-Najah offers the best undergraduate education in Palestine and among the best throughout the Arab world. The support and collaboration we receive from international partners continuously provide our students with opportunities to develop critical thinking skills that will benefit them throughout life, while allowing the University to be a cornerstone of Palestine’s development.

From our humble beginnings as a secondary school over 90 years ago, An-Najah has grown into a full-fledged higher education institution. Currently we offer the only doctorate program in Palestine, as well as over 130 other degree programs that utilize our state of the art facilities on three campuses. The University’s Scientific Centers support our academic profile, while contributing to innovation in diverse fields such as toxicology, Nano materials, seismology and green technologies.

At An-Najah, we seek not only to push the boundaries of modern knowledge, but also to preserve our culture and past as well. Our theatres, media center, and library provide access to arts and academia to both our students and Palestine as whole. We are proud to express international and traditional Arabic arts side by side at the University, as we seek to be a catalyst for a multicultural Palestine.
