Tennis Ball Collector

Tennis, a widely popular game, is a racket sport that takes place on a rectangular and flat surface court. During tennis training sessions, manually collecting the balls can be a laborious task , and the process of retrieving the balls manually can be time-consuming and physically demanding. This project aims to address the laborious task of manually collecting tennis balls during training sessions by developing an autonomous robotic tennis ball collector. The objective is to design a robot capable of navigating the tennis court, detecting tennis balls using image processing techniques, and autonomously collecting them, thereby allowing players to rest instead of manually retrieving the balls. The robot features four independentlyactuated wheels. A gate mechanism is employed to push the tennis balls into a basket mounted on the robot. A camera mounted on the robot captures images, which are processed using OpenCV libraries on a Raspberry Pi to detect tennis balls through an edge detection algorithm. This project presents an effective solution for automating the collection of tennis balls during training sessions, providing convenience and relief to players from the manual collection task.

Farmable

Farm management is considered as an essential procedure for all farmers. However, the majority of farmers lack the ability to manage their farms. Therefore, our application and website play a role in helping the farmers to gain full control over their crops by allowing them to log all their jobs and record the harvest time. In addition, it can gather data easily and precisely. It can also track and organize the various operations that will be performed on the land, such as seed planting , irrigation, fertilization and harvesting. The collected data can be used to generate reports by a few clicks and this will save time. Moreover, it will help the farmers to communicate with each other. In short, our application and website will effectively organize and manage farmers’ work by utilizing new technology in management.

Guardian - A

This project is about the implementation of Guardian-A application for Guardian-A company which is located in the United Kingdom . Guardian-A is a mobile application that helps girls to live a better life , by providing features to prevent sexual harassment facing them in their daily life. The implementation process of the project was challenging , starting from planning until delivering the final product . We managed to use Ionic which is a cross platform programming framework in order to implement the interface and handle some back-end functionality in addition to many other developing tools and API‘s such as Google maps API , Firebase and Firestore. Finally , we were able to deliver a well structured , good looking mobile application prototype that meets all functional and non-functional requirements needed by Guardian-A team .

Grass Cutting Robot

With the increase in green spaces in the world, people need to take care of them, but we do not deny that they require a lot of time and effort, which sometimes a person does not have the space for. From this standpoint, we thought to find a solution that could help in the process of caring for plants and save time and effort for humans, so we started our idea by working on a robot that cuts green grass when it reaches a certain length in the garden and with work on the idea of making its movement logical and suitable for the work that will It is done by this robot. For the movement, it begins with the ability of this robot to cover all the existing space in addition to its ability to move away from the obstacles that appear in front of it. In addition,to make it easier for the user, two modes of movement are provided, either automatically or by the user controlling his movement. In addition To facilitate the movement process, this robot cuts the grass only when it has reached a certain length, and this saves energy on the robot instead of constantly cutting, and to take care of the garden in all respects, we have added the feature of watering the crops when a low level of moisture is reached in the soil. This is done wirelessly by sending a notification to the robot from the soil sensor, then the robot pumps water to increase the moisture level in the soil.

Automated Car Washer

This graduation project presents the design and development of an Automated Car Wash Machine, aimed at providing efficient car cleaning services. The system combines automation, cost analysis, and remote monitoring to create an innovative solution for car owners and businesses alike. The main components of this project include a conveyor belt system that guides the car through various stages of the washing process. The car is first subjected to a water splash to remove loose dirt , followed by the application of soap for a thorough cleaning, and then another water splash to clean off the soap . The automated process ensures consistent and high-quality results, reducing the need for manual washing. The project contains cost analysis component. By measuring the amount of water and soap used during each car wash cycle, the system calculates the cost of the service. This helps car wash businesses optimize their resource utilization ,to make their analysis for the profits. The system also includes remote monitoring capabilities. An integrated camera system captures real-time footage of the car wash process, which can be accessed via a mobile application. This feature enables car wash administrators to monitor operations remotely, ensuring smooth functioning and addressing any issues promptly. The system will contain sensors to realize the position of the car on the belt , these sensors should verify that the process walked correctly , in case any of the three processes didn’t happen correctly , or the car was stuck on the belt .
