The Office of the Deputy President for Graduate Affairs is tasked with evaluating and constantly improving the market readiness and employability of students departing from An-Najah at the completion of their studies. The Graduate Affairs staff designs complementary courses to traditional higher education instruction that promote desired social skills, professional dynamics, and other skill sets in order to make our graduates competitive in domestic and international job markets.
The primary methodology used to develop these skills is through a competency based learning model which focuses on Knowledge, skills, and attitude to deliver measureable behavioral results. The application of this methodology can explored further through our office under the link “Competency-based Development”
The office is also intimately involved in the operations and oversight of the An-Najah Alumni Unit, as well as the An-Najah Graduates Network. These departments maintain open communication with our graduates throughout their career so that the University and Alumni remain valuable resources to each other, as well as understanding career opportunities and professional expectations of both the University and our students.
