Students Transfer

Undergraduate Transfer Students:

The university accepts transfer students from other universities as follows:
Students who wish to transfer from other universities to An-Najah National University-except to the Faculty of Human Medicine- are required to have a minimum C “Good” average and they should not have completed more than 50% of the required credit hours. Courses offered for credit by a recognized university shall be accepted for credit by the An-Najah National University when there is actual equivalency in course content and if the student has a minimum C “Good” average in all these courses. The student’s grades in such courses will not be calculated in the student’s cumulative average.

Students may transfer to the Faculty of Human Medicine from a recognized university provided that they have completed the first stage of their education with a minimum B “Very Good” average and that his/her cumulative average in the General Secondary Education Certificate qualifies him/her for admission to the Faculty of Human Medicine according to the admission requirements in the year when he/she obtained the General Secondary Education Certificate.  Such students must complete three consecutive years of study at An-Najah National University.  Admission of transfer students is decided by the Student Transfer Committee at the Faculty of Human Medicine.

Graduate Transfer Students:
The university accepts transfer students from other universities to the Faculty of Graduate Studies under the following conditions:

  • A student must have a minimum C “Good” average.
  • A transfer student must successfully pass an admission test.
  • When there is equivalency in course content and the student has a minimum average in the course of 75%, a maximum of 6 credit hours may be accepted for credit by the university.
