An-Najah University has the responsibility to remain at the forefront of higher education and research and to continually improve in comparison to other universities in Palestine. Meeting this responsibility requires the university to have the foresight to identify opportunities for improvement and to have the ability to effectively take advantage of such opportunities. It is hoped that this outline of the University’s Strategic Plan will be used as a basis for a continuing commitment to improve the instructional, research, and service missions of the university and to develop the detailed implementation approaches needed to achieve the university objectives. We also realize, as with any strategic plan, that the ultimate success of the planning process depends on the organization’s commitment to continually revise and update the plan in response to changes, both internal and external to the organization.
