CBDA Center was established in 1999 to assist in the field of food analysis and shelf life.
CBDA Center is an independent center working under the supervising of An-Najah National University and it has wide responsibilities and its own technical and management working team specialized in chemical and microbiological analysis. CBDA Center provides its services to the private and public sectors.

In addition to the existence units in the center, unit of food analysis,Drugs control analysis , Drugs and cosmetic analysis, Detergents analysis, Water analysis, Three new units were added:

• Polymers analysis unit including polyethylene and polyolefin's like:

• Black carbon Contents and distribution.
• Tensile tension.
• Thermal stability.
• Environmental resistance.
• Dimensions.

We use both the American and British testing methods.

• Air Pollution Units.

Currently, we have a mobile laboratory were Air analysis like Co, CO2, SO2,and  NOx, can be analyzed in spot without going to the laboratory. In addition to the mobile lab we have different instrument that can be carried to the location.

• Research and Development Unit.

This can be done depends on the problems that face industry section in Palestine. The Center now accepting graduate students and promote them working on their thesis projects like BOD, detergents, Pesticides and other areas currently engaged in center.
