On Wednesday, October 28^th, 2015 Dr. Sameer Shadeed, Member of the Water and Environmental Studies Institute at An-Najah participated in the Palestinian-Dutch Academic Cooperation Conference on Water (PADUCO) in the Hague, Netherlands.

Dr. Shadeed presented a paper titled “Developing a GIS-Based Agro-land Suitability Map for the Faria Agricultural Catchment, Palestine” as he participated in several symposiums to evaluate the programme’s ongoing projects.

While in Netherlands, Dr. Shadeed also attended the signing of an MOU by Rami Hamdallah, Prime Minister of Palestine and Mark Rutte, Prime Minister of the Netherlands which stated renewing cooperation between Palestine and the Netherlands.
