On Wednesday, August 10^th, 2015 a delegation from Canterbury Christ Church University visited An-Najah and met with Professor Maher Natsheh, Acting President to sign a Memorandum of Understanding between both universities.

The delegation from Canterbury consisted of Dr. Susan Soan, Director of Special Education Needs and Inclusion, Dr. Evelyn Hutton, Associate Professor (Children and Young People’s Health and Wellbeing) and Dr. Vivien Wilson, Principle lecturer in Education.

The MOU aims at establishing academic relations between An-Najah and CCCU that that would help improve higher education through academic and cultural exchange. The Agreement included promoting student and staff (both administrative and academic) exchange and joined scientific research.

Notes:

-          The meeting was also attended by Dr. Zaher Nazzal, Director of An-Najah’s Child Institute, Dr. Sabrina Russo, Dr. Rasha Khayyat and Mr. Sami Sadder.

-          Both parties agreed that the agreement contact persons would be  Dr. Zaher Nazzal from An-Najah and Mr. Rami Younes, International Partnership Officer from Canterbury.
