On Thursday, May 28^th, 2015, Professor Marwan Haddad, Director of An-Najah’s Water and Environmental Studies Institute (WESI) participated in the 5^th international conference on alternative energy which was held over three days in Istanbul.

The conference aimed at discussing a joint research on using solar energy in the wastewater treatment plants.

Notes:

-          The conference was from May28th to May 30^th.

-          The research is part of the Dutch funded project, "Solar Energy in the Wastewater Treatment Plants" which is under execution.

-          The project evaluates the public attitudes towards development using the Palestinian experience as a case study.
