On Monday, May 25th, 2015, the Competency Development Unit at An-Najah held two preparation workshops for the IELTS exam with trainer Mr. Jonathan Wright from the International Relations Office.

The workshops e provided the students with IELTS sample exams and introduced them to the test's sections (listening, reading, writing and speaking).

The workshops aimed at acquainting the applicants with the test and introducing them to the various techniques in answering the questions as well as the idioms used in the test.

Notes:

-          75 students from different specializations of An-Najah joined the programme as well as a number of academic and administrative staff members.

-          The workshop consisted of six hours of training.

-          The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) is an international standardized test of English language proficiency for non-native English language speakers, and is one major requirement for admissions to all British universities and some European and American universities.
