On Friday, April 19, 2015, a delegation from Hisham Hijjawi College of Technology was part was of a scientific visit to Germany under the title: “from pilot measure to management of change", which aimed at visiting numerous research centers, and institutions to learn about the German experience in pilot projects.

During the visit, the delegation was introduced to governmental and non- governmental projects that aim linking the needs of the job market to the different age groups as well as people with special needs. These projects provided a new perspective when compared to those in Palestine, which are rather different.

The visit also included holding meetings, sessions and workshops on the German and the Palestinian experience.

Notes:

-          The Palestinian delegation was represented by Dr. Samer Mayaleh, Dean of the Hisham Hijjawi College of Technology, Ms Anan Attera, Deputy Governor of Nablus's Provence and Waheed Shahrouri from the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics.

-          The visit was over a week from April 19-25, 2015.

-          The visit is part of the GIZ funded-professional training project.
