On Tuesday, April 28, 2015, Mr. Luay Abu Reidah, PhD Candidate from An-Najah at Minho University in Portugal participated in the International Conference on Economics, Accounting, Management, Social Science Engineering, Arts Management and Law held in Barcelona, which was organized by the Geography Department at Minho University.

Mr. Abu Reideh presented a paper entitled "Towards Reducing the Impact of Israeli Settlements industries on the Palestinian Economy (West Bank)."

The paper tackled the negative impact of the Israeli settlements' industries on the Palestinian economy and the Palestinian Industry sector. It also introduced possible solutions to reduce that impact and protect local Palestinian products.

Notes:

-          The conference was over two days from April 14-15, 2015 and was held in Barcelona-Spain.

-          Mr. Abu Reideh commended his supervisors both Dr. Flavio Lemos from Minho University and Dr. Wael Ennab from An-Najah University.
