On Sunday, April 5, 2015 An-Najah’s student branch of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) celebrated obtaining the Society’s recognition of the branch, and hence being the first student branch to obtain this recognition from the U.S based society.

The ceremony, which was attended by a number of Faculty members as well as Dr. Sameh Al-Abed, from the Palestine Investment Fund, included the screening of a documentary film on the branch's achievements in the past two years.

-          The ceremony was attended by Dr. Khalid Al-Sahili, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology, Professor Samer Abu Aisheh, Academic Councilor of the Branch, Dr. Abdulfattah Al-Mallah, Head of the Civil Engineering Department and Wathiq Al-Sayeh, Head of the ASCE-Students Branch at An-Najah National University.
