On Monday, March 16, 2015, An-Najah National hosted the American hip hop acapella musical group Urban Method Band at Zafer Masri Auditorium.
The American hip hop group performed popular American songs popular American genre using the voices of the band members as musical instruments. The band presented hip hop, rap, funk and jazz where the songs carried interesting themes like dreaming, hoping and love.

Following Urban Method’s performance, the Palestinian hip hop dance group Mix Team Palestine performed original hip hop dance choreography.

Lastly, An Najah’s Dabka group performed dabka and sang popular Palestinian songs as part of the Palestinian folklore and heritage.

-The ceremony was attended by Mr. Moussa Abu Dayeh, Dean of Students' Affairs at An-Najah National University, Mr. Khalid Mufleh

-Rizumic, the Vocal Percussionist of the Urban Band performed beat-boxing where he used his vocal cords to produce sounds of musical instruments. Rizumik has been performing beat-boxing for eighteen years.
