On Tuesday, February 24^th 2015, An-Najah’s Community Service Center (CSC) was awarded the Haydar Abd Al Shafi Award in recognition of the important role it plays in the field of voluntary work on a national level.

Mr. Bilal Salameh, Director of the CSC, received the award at the Awnah Festival which was organized by the “Sharek” Youth Forum.

This award was to value the efforts of the CSC which has the vastest, organized voluntary work in Palestine with thousands of volunteers and a quarter of a million hours of voluntary work. The CSC work included providing three thousand blood units for hospitals, rehabilitating hundreds of houses for needy families, and providing support for children, the elderly and the disabled.

-          The award ceremony was attended by Dr. Sabri Saydam, the President’s Consultant for IT Affairs, Mr. Kamel Hameed, Governor of Hebron, Mr. Mohammda Emran, Deputy Mayor of Hebron, Mr, Bader Zama’ra, Director of “Sharek”, and the CSC team.
