In a recent achievement, Assistant Professor Younes Dar Amouri, head of the Cardiology and Catheter Department at An-Najah Training Hospital, performed an operation for a heart biopsy through catheter surgery. The operation was for a patient who was transferred to An-Najah’s hospital from Gaza because he was suffering from severe Cardiomyopathy.

Professor Amouri was able to properly diagnose and treat the patient’s Cardiomyopathy.

-          This surgery performed at an-Najah Training Hospital is the first of its kind in Palestine.

-          Professor Dar Amouri holds a BCS and a PhD from German Universities; he is a member of the German and European Cardio-societies and holds the German and European boards.
