On Thursday, 3rd July 2014 Professor Maher Natsheh, Acting President of An-Najah, received Professor Jean-Michel Eymeri-Douzans, the Deputy Director in charge of International and Strategic Development from the University of Science Politique Toulouse to discuss potential cooperation with An-Najah National University.

At the beginning of the meeting Prof. Natsheh welcomed Prof. Eymeri-Douzans to An-Najah and commended France for their support of the Palestinian cause. He also welcomed the idea of an academic cooperation with a prestigious university such as the University of Science Politique Toulouse, which he said will be beneficial for both parties.
Prof. Natsheh went on to give an overview of An-Najah, the academic programmes it offers, the facilities, and the relations it has with many renowned international universities.
 Dr. Maher emphasized the importance of higher education in Palestine and stated that An-Najah is competing with other institutions internationally, overcoming political and economical hardships.

Professor Eymeri-Douzans thanked Professor Natsheh and An-Najah for the hospitality he received and applauded the University’ssuccess over the years, which was displayed in the documentary film about An-Najah titled “A Success Story”, which was screened during the meeting.
Other attendees from the University included, Dr. Mohammad Hanoun, Vice President for Administrative Affairs; Mr. Khaled Mufleh, Director of the Public Relations Department and International Assistant from the Office of International Development and External Affairs.
After the meeting Professor Eymeri-Douzans was taken on a tour around the university’s new campus where he was introduced to the different Faculties.
